Spring Simplicity

One of the beginning pieces in my water-media series this image was created when I was in a very stressful stage of my academic career. During this time period art was my main outlet since any other time was spent working either on school or at a part time job.

Producing this piece allowed for me to become in touch with my mental state and realize the need to slow down and take a breath. The inspiration for this picture was a good search under for “relaxation”. One of the images that came up was an inviting chair in a beautiful garden. Something about the image really appealed to me and so I created my on rendition of the scene.
