Saltwater Breeze

This pastel was created in the studio from a reference photo originally taken while visiting the east coast. Pastels on one of a kind home made pastel board create a unique texture that perfectly captures this late summer landscape. The tumultuous atlantic ocean, shore line foliage, and far off sandy shore come together in a cohesive color scheme, fitting for a mid August summer day.
